Thierry Boisdon (singer)is one of the leading flamenco singers in the Nordic countries. His interest for flamenco started in 1981, and since 1990 he has performed as a professional singer in more than 15 countries. And not only flamenco guitarists and choreographers has taken advantage of his stage performance, but also choreographers and directors of theatre plays and modern dance performances. Last year he mainly toured with Granhøj Dans, one of the leading Danish modern dance companies and with different flamenco groups such as Requiem Flamenco in Denmark, Erik Steen Flamenco Fusion based in Sweden and Kaari Martin Compañia based in Helsinki. In 2001 he created the stage performance "flamenco-i.dk" and in 2005 he released his first solo album "No soy flamenco" (I’m not a flamenco) from which the track"Carmen, Carmen" was elected for the Danish Compilation Export album for World Music.
