Emil Pernblad (guitarist) was educated by some of the greatest flamenco guitarists like M. Serrano, El Piripi, Manolo Franco, Miguel Angel Cortés, Fernando Aguilera, Gerardo Núñez, Niño de Pura.

Living parts of his life in Seville he has performed in various tablaos such as "Las Brujas", "La Carboneria" as well as accompanying many up and coming singers at Cristina Heeren Foundation. In Seville he also collaborated with José Galvan Flamenco Group and in Sweden he initiated the succesfull flamenco concert show "Al Andalus", a fusion between flamenco and arabic music.

Apart from Arte Flamenco Emil Pernblad is currently performing in Scandinavia, France, Italy and Spain with Aire Flamenco, Soniquete and Calle Nueva. In 2005 he performed on Thierry’s solo album "No soy flamenco".
